Holland’s Experience in Uncharted
Tom Holland is all excited about his new project Uncharted under Sony. As we all know Uncharted is originally an action video game in Play Station. Sony has taken the video game’s plot to create a live-action Hollywood movie. Naturally, the film will also have huge stunts to build up the story of the video game.
Holland has shared his experience of Uncharted stunts to Variety’s Award Circuit podcast. He told that it was: “the biggest action sequences I’ve ever been a part of. The cuts and bruises and bangs I got from dangling off of wires and falling off things was ridiculous.” He also told Esquire: “I was getting so beat. I was battered and bruised, and I had tendinitis in my hamstring. I will never do a sword-fight scene ever again.”
Comparison with Tom Cruise
Fans are visualizing Tom Holland as the future version of Tom Cruise. Cruise is famous for doing his stunts all alone. His stunts in Mission Impossible franchise are breathtaking. In the case of Tom Holland throughout his career, he got Spiderman: Home Coming, Spiderman: Far From Home, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, & Endgame, and more. In these movies, Holland showed his varied range of physical abilities.
Spiderman is typically one of the toughest superhero characters to play. Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield has played the role before and many times faced difficult injuries while doing stunts. However, Holland showed that he is the deserving Spiderman. He is a trained gymnast, martial arts expert. Unlike Tom Cruise, he will simply be eager to show his talents in the movies.

Uncharted is influenced by a sequence from the game Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. In the film Tom Holland will play the character, Nathan Drake. The plot will be possibly the first encounter of Nathan drake and fortune seeker & businessman Victor Sullivan.
