Disney in Talks with Amber Heard To Reportedly Cast Her in Star Wars

Amber Laura Heard was born in Austin, Texas, to Patricia Paige Heard. She has English, Irish, Scottish, German, and Welsh roots. She first made her appearance in the Academy Award-nominated film, North Country in the year 2005. She also starred in Television shows like The CW drama, Hidden Palms (2007), and played guest appearance roles on Showtime’s Californication (2007) and CBS’s Criminal Minds (2005).

In the year 2008, she caught the attention of the viewers for her role in the comedy hit, Pineapple Express with actors Seth Rogen and James Franco. Amber received a 2008 Young Hollywood Award for her performance in “Pineapple Express.

She appeared in the 2011 film The Rum Diary opposite Johnny Depp and was part of John Carpenter’s The Ward in the year 2010. The film premiered at the 2010 Toronto Film Festival. Heard also starred in the independent film, And Soon the Darkness in 2010 in which she was also a co-producer. Actress Amber Heard is now the Ex-Wife of Actor Johnny Depp.
