Roblox provides updates, promos and is fully active currently. Even the official Twitter handle of Roblox gave a post: “Let’s set things straight: Roblox isn’t ‘shutting down’. The same hoax (with a few details changed) goes around every year or two. Remember: don’t believe everything y’all read on the internet.” Roblox Shutting Down 2021 is nothing more just a rumour that gained public attention.
Roblox was created by Eric Cassel and David Baszucki in 2004 and launched in 2006. Roblox is originally based in the United States. The game is an online gaming platform and also allows players to make customized games. Roblox’s programming language is Lua.

Back in 2019, the rumors of Roblox shutting down was started. As a result, a group of 7000 members named ‘Stop Roblox from Shutting Down’ was created by fans. Breaking the rumors the game is still alive in 2021. However, a few months back again the same rumors were spreading. ‘Roblox Shutting Down in February’ was the catchphrase this time. Some even added an unrealistic date i.e February 30 to the catchphrase. But we all know any such date doesn’t exist so as the rumors.
Roblox Current Status
In August 2020, Roblox had over 164 million monthly active users. Gradually Roblox is spreading all over the world. In November 2020, Roblox announced it would become a public company. The game has gained positive reviews. In January 2021, Roblox’s investment was $520 million. “Roblox Shutting Down 2021” has not only shook the minds of the players but has also put them into dilemma. Now proved to be wrong.

Just “the word on the street” as Roblox developers have announced that there is no shutting of the game. The official declaration on twitter has been made. What great news can come in our way! Yes the game will remain online throughout. The entertainment will never going to come to end in anytime soon.
