Here’s good news for you as Huawei is all set to launch it’s new foldable smartphone this year. Huawei Mate x2 is a successor of Huawei Mate x which was launched in the year 2019 to compete with Samsung galaxy fold.

On the official Weibo account, Huawei confirmed the launch of it’s the new foldable smartphone the Huawei Mate x2. According to the sources, it is said that the Huawei Mate x2 will be launched in China by 22 February 2021 or March 2021. The smartphone’s display panel is offered by BEO. First, it was said that the display panel will come from Samsung but since the company has no license to do business in China. BEO is said to offer the display panel.
On the official Weibo account, Huawei confirmed that the smartphone is powered by Kirin 9000 which was launched last year in October. It is believed that Kirin 9000 Comes with a brand new arms cortex -A77 CPU and ground-breaking 24-core Mali-G78 GPU that ensures an uninterrupted gaming experience and ensures superior performance.
The phone has an inward folding, unlike the Mate x that had outward folded. The unfolded screen of the phone is 8.01 Inch along with the display of 2480 × 2200 pixels. On folding the phone the screen size becomes 6.45 inches with a 2270× 1160 pixels display. The display type is foldable OLED.
The phone is said to have four cameras of 50 megapixels, 16 megapixels, 12 megapixels, and 8 megapixels (offering ultrawide and 10x zoom focal length) respectively. The primary camera is of 50 megapixels followed by a second camera of 16 megapixels, and two sensors of 12 and 8 megapixels respectively. The cameras are placed on the top left corner of the phone inside a pill-shaped hole punch cut out along with the button to unfold the phone.
The phone’s storage is believed to be 12 GB RAM which is expandable to 512 GB of internal storage. The phone supports a dual sim with one Nano-SIM and dual stand by SIM. It supports the GSM, HSPA, LTE, and 5G networks. The phone doesn’t support the Google play services and comes with its own Huawei App gallery.
The phone is operated by OS Android 10 and EMUI 11. It weighs around 295g. The phone has a side finger lock placed on the right-hand side of the phone. Since the phone is foldable it doesn’t support the face lock. The phone battery is of 4400mAh along with a 66w fast charging support system.
