Everything is brilliant about Marvel Studios’ new web television series, WandaVision. Fans are a little bit frustrated that they have to wait a whole week to watch the next episode as the show airs on a weekly basis. There are several leaks surrounding the storyline of the show and what to expect in the upcoming weeks. Among others, the leak about the debut of a certain X-men character in MCU through WandaVision is making rounds on the internet this past week.
The new leak suggests that Evan Peters is going to make his appearance in the show in coming episodes. Fans can cherish that he may potentially be making his debut in WandaVision’s next episode, Episode 5. A leaker released a short clip from the upcoming episode, which features Evan Peters in action. The clip has now been taken down from the internet and the streaming platform is even trying to take legal action against the leaker.
Evan Peters is Quicksilver in WandaVision
The leaked footage doesn’t reveal many details about the things going around but it certainly features Evan Peters. Also, the clip reveals that he is indeed going to play the role of Quicksilver in WandaVision. However, given the nature of the footage, we don’t know whether the appearance is just a cameo or has some important role in building up the first season’s narrative.
Evan Peters played Peter Maximoff in the original X-Men series and seemingly appeared in movies like Dark Phoenix, Apocalypse, and Days of Future Past. It will be interesting to know how Marvel Studios will introduce Peters as Quicksilver in WandaVision as the MCU version of Quicksilver died at the hands of Ultron. Murphy’s Multiverse previously reported that Evan Peters completed his filming in an undisclosed role for the currently running original series.
The next episode will return next Friday, on February 5, 2021, where everything will be unveiled. Disney Plus recently released an exclusive clip that has increased the excitement level in the fans even more.
