Marlon Brando was a legendary American actor as well as a filmmaker. He was a versatile actor of the 20th century. Winning the Academic Award for Best Actor twice is commendable.
Apart from his acting career, Marlon was an activist and stood for civil rights movement. He achieved fame, respect and wealth in his 60years of career. Marlon Brando died at the age of 80 on 4th July,2004.

Marlon Brando’s net worth was estimated to be 100 million dollar at the time of his death. Now, the same amount is around 130 million dollar in today’s dollar. Marlon had worth of around 23 million dollar from his liquid assets and 21.6 million dollar in real estates. Besides this, he had his private island which is not counted in his net worth.
Marlon started his career acting on stage on Broadway in New York. He was being labelled with ‘Most Promising Young Actor’ by the New York Drama Cities Awards for several times. ‘I Remember Mama’ was Marlon’s first debut drama in 1944. “The Men” was Marlon’s first film which was released in 1950’s. One of his best performance for which he is recognised is in Julius Caesar. After working in Julius Caesar, Marlon got professional fame. He won an Oscar for his promising role in ‘The Godfather’. However, he did not take the award in order to protest against Hollywood’s treatment of Native Americans.
He was a great human beings besides being a graceful actor. He has received plenty of awards in many categories and especially for theaters. Some of his great characters are Don Vito in The Godfather, Terry Malloy in On The Waterfront and Coleonel Kurtz in Apocalypse Now.
Cause of death
Marlon Brando was born on 3rd April,1924 and unfortunately died on 4th July 2004. He was admitted in UCLA medical centre in Los Angeles. Marlon was suffering from alot of diseases and all at the same time.
Moreover, he was 80 years old and thus his body somewhere did allow him to take so much of it. He had pulmonary fibrosis, diabetes, liver tumors and congestive heart failure. Apart from all this, the reason of his death was respiratory failure.
We will always remember Marlon Brando, one of the greatest actors of all time in Hollywood.
