Fruits Basket Season 4 Release Date Update for 2022

Fruits Basket Season 4 has been long-awaited, so let’s see what are the latest update and when it is going to release.

TMS Entertainment announced that the third season of Fruit Basket is returning this year. The first season aired back in 2019 while the second started airing in 2020. This anime television series is the reboot of the original anime series that aired back in 2001. However, both the anime television series is the adaptation of popular manga series by Natsuki Tanaya.

The supernatural romantic comedy follows the story of an orphaned girl Tohru Honda. Honda finds herself involved with the Sohma family. There’s something unusual and mysterious with the family. Tohru meets with Kyu, Shigure, and Yuki and later learns the sad reality of the Sohma family. The twelve members of the Sohma family are cursed with the animals of the twelve Chinese zodiacs.

When these members are weak, they turn into their respective animals. Also, when they hug someone who isn’t possessed by the cursed spirit, they turn into the animal form. Tohru also learns how painful and how hard is life for the members who are possessed by the curse. She is a generous girl and with her act of kindness, she helps other members to cope with the hardships.

Fruit Basket is an emotional rollercoaster and features several elements of emotional trauma and turmoils. The second season was more emotional than the first one and also introduced new characters. Among the newly introduced character, a new rooster of the zodiac is revealed, Kureno. Also, the second season introduced new members of the students’ council, Machi and Kakeru.

Fruits Basket Season 4 will start airing on TV Tokyo, while Funimation will stream for international viewers. Fruit Basket is also a production of Funimation, so that’s why the Fruits Basket Season 4 Release Date will be internationally along with the Japan release. The beautiful and emotional story of Tohru and the Sohma family will conclude in the third season which will debut later this year.
