From Common to Laurence Fishburne, all returning cast to John Wick 4.
John Wick is the most anticipated action movie franchise that has created a huge fanbase. The movie fanatics really like John Wick and its sequels. Fans are waiting for the upcoming 4th part of John Wick to release.
Well it’s not that Lionsgate hasn’t announced the date. The release date previously on May 21, 2021. But to avoid possible crashes with another Box Office phenomenon Matrix 4, the film delayed the release on May 27, 2022.
People have loved John Wick characters throughout the storylines. Be it Keanu Reeves’s titular character or Laurence Fishburne’s Bowery King or Ian McShane’s Winston. Some of the characters did return in the sequel, some were not alongside the introduction of new characters. Let’s see who is possible to return in John Wick 4.
Keanu Reeves [John Wick]
Well the name suggests and it will be bizarre if the protagonist gets removed from his own film. John Wick’s presence is undoubtedly confirmed by the director Chad Stahelski. The character John Wick is played by Keanu Reeves, and he has also promised to return to the role.
Laurence Fishburne [Bowery King]
Laurence Fishburne played the character Bowery King in the John Wick franchise. Well this is still not confirmed officially. Whether Laurence will return to reprise his role in the upcoming John Wick movie. John Wick 3- Parabellum has the ending where Bowery king promises John to take revenge on the High Table and he takes John into his side. This ending suggests that Laurence Fishburne is likely to return in John Wick 4.
Common [Cassian]
Famous rapper and actor Common played the antagonist Cassian in John Wick Chapter 2. There’s no official statement till now that Common will reprise his role as he was not part of John Wick 3. But fans are believing that he may return as he is one of the only characters who was saved from John Wick.
Ian McShane [Winston]
After playing Winston in 3 consecutive parts of John Wick, it is natural to think that Ian McShane will return for the past 4. Through it is yet to be announced, but chances are high, as it is yet to be announced. But chances are high as Winston is still alive in John Wick 3- Parabellum.
Lance Reddick [Charon]
Lance Reddick’s Charon is an important character in every John Wick movie. And it is announced that Charon will return for the 4th part too.
Bridget Moynahan [Helen Wick]
The character Helen Wick played by Bridget Moynahan is the wife of John Wick. Bridget continued the role from part 1 to part 3 of John Wick. It is yet to be announced whether the character will return in the upcoming movie or not.
Other Characters
There are still many more characters who are expected to be returned in John Wick 4. But no announcements have been made till now. Characters such as- Jason Mantzoukas Tick Tock Man are likely to reprise the role as of the ending of John Wick 3. Unity Phelan’s The Ballerina, Halle Berry’s Sofia, John Laguizemo’s Aurelio, David Patric Kelly’s Charlie and Many characters still on the waiting list.
