Stranger Things is an American horror mystery TV series illustrated by the Duffer Brothers. It is a drama based on supernatural things and gives us scary experience. Stranger Things was released on Netflix on 15th July 2016 and has completed three seasons. The drama has received many awards for its incredible story. Maya Hawke’s role in Stranger Things
Maya Hawake is a young American actress and singer. She started her career as a model. Besides this she is popular for her character as Robin Buckley in the 3rd series of Stranger Things.
Robin Buckley is an important character in the film. Robin is a 17 years old girl living in Hawkins, Indiana. She is a student at Hawkins High School and works in an icecream store in a mall names Starcourt Mall. Robin works along with her former classmate Steve Harrington ( Joe Keery) in the store.
This season had its focus on the friendship as well as romance between the two but ended up with a twist. Everything changed after Robin revealed her sexuality that she is a lesbian. This statement left Steve in a shock.
We hope to see this lovely chemistry ans Maya as Robin in the upcoming seasons as well.
Maya’s age and parents
Maya Hawake was born on 8th July, 1998 and is currently 22 years old. The young actress was raised in New York City. She is the daughter of the famous actors Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman. Her parents came to know each other in the year 1997 during the shooting of Gattaca. They got married in May 1998 but unfortunately they decided to split in 2005. After getting divorced, Maya’s parents had their second marriage with their their love.
Maya is very close to her mother Uma. People say that Maya sounds like her mom and they look similar. When asked about this assumption, Maya said, “I know it’s crazy. People always write and talk about how we look alike, and we don’t really look alike, but we do sound a lot alike”. She said that it does happen all the time in an interview.
Relationship history
Maya is never clear with her relationship news. Her relationship seen to be a mystery. Long time ago she mentioned about one of her relationships which ended after an year of dating. She mocking said that she thinks that she scares men.
Gus Wenner
The Rolling Stone President and Chief Operating Officer, Gus Wenner was dating Maya in February 2019. The news was confirmed by Maya’s weird post on Instagram related to Gus. Gus also posted the same on his account.
But now it seems they have parted their ways. They are no more seen posting pictures on social media or spotted together. The reason is not disclosed.
Tom Sturridge
Tom Sturridge is a 34 years old English actor. Maya and Tom are rumoured to be dating these days. Their romance came into news after being spotted together walking arms in arms in the streets of New York City. The couple were captured kissing eachother in a restaurant.
Both were wearing colorful masks. Maya’ floral dress was just eye-catching. We can say that love is in the air.
