The Last Duel is set in the backdrop of King Charles VI era, where a knight, Jean de Carrouges (Matt Damon), is sent by the authority to make a deal and settle all disputes.

Stillwater

Another highly anticipated Matt Damon movie is Stillwater. It has been directed by Tom McCarthy, and features Damon as Bill Baker, an Oklahoma oil rigger who goes to France to rescue his daughter, who has been put behind bars for allegedly committing a murder, that she says she hasn’t done.

No Sudden Move

Matt Damon is also working on Soderbergh’s HBO Max film No Sudden Move. The movie is set on the backdrop of a 1955 Detroit, featuring a group of small-time criminals who have been given the task to steal a simple document.

Projects Matt Damon Is Producing

Matt Damon is also a very successful producer. He established a joint production company Pearl Street Films, with Ben Affleck.

There has been news that Matt and Ben are working on a new adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution. They are also producing a TV movie, Thirst for HBO.
