Here we come with another example of how badly the global Pandemic affects the film industry in 2020. The popular series The Walking Dead season 11 delayed for the COVID 19 situation.
In the previous year in the month of October, the series comes up with a new season. But in this year, the first time in a decade the show delayed-release for a pandemic situation.
The zombie drama aired its original season 10 finale last month, but an additional six episodes will be broadcast next year, billed as “in-between-quels” that will shed more light on the personal journeys of the core characters.
Former One Tree Hill star Hilarie Burton will play Lucille in the extra season 10 episodes, which is particularly notable as she is the real wife of Negan actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
But it is now very unclear that, will be featuring for season 11.

It is very sorry to say that, the officials till not confirm any date of release. But some sources and media guess that the 11th season may come in late 2021 or in the beginning of 2022.
The season consists of a total of 24 episodes. Which split into two separate batches. Before then, though, fans have some extra season 10 episodes to look forward to – with six bonus episodes having been announced in July.
Showrunner Angela Kang recently told RadioTimes.com and other press that, the episodes would “dive really deeply into some of these characters that we have. It’s a kind of focused, almost more anthology-like storytelling in some of them.”

Yes, according to the officials it’s the last season of Walking Dead. As the original storyline will finish within this series it’s gonna be the last season. But there’s still a lot more to come from the franchise in general.
