CBSE usually announces the examination date in November every year and conducts the exam next year in February and March. However, the examination board had to delay the announcement due to the coronavirus pandemic. Education institutions are the other major area affected by the deadly pandemic. Pokhriyal previously confirmed that the examination will not be held in February, like usual.
Due to the unprecedented situation, the schools and educational institutions have been shut down. The students and teachers are forced to share educational activities through their respective houses and online. Also, several schools and colleges have been taking examinations through online mode. However, the Board announced that even a large number of students want an online examination, the finals would be a written mode.
The minister mentioned that students in remote areas are dancing difficulties in coping with online learning. If they are facing problem while learning, it would certainly be more troublesome to organize the online examination. Pokhriyal informed that the final exams of Class 10 and 12 cannot be held in online mode, either way. The aspiring students are requested to stay tuned for further updates.
