Harry Potter fans are going gaga over Emma Watson and Tom Felton’s most recent dating rumors. The two former co-stars have been caught spending time together and everyone is wondering if they are actually more than just friends.
The rumor has started building in full force over the last few months, especially after Tom shared some photos of them together, on Instagram.
However, Emma has cleared all speculations and confirmed that she and Tom are not dating. In fact, in an interview, Emma said, “I’m very happy [being single]. I call it being self-partnered.”
Dating history
Emma’s first public relationship was back in 2006/2007, with a rugby player named Tom Ducker. Their romance lasted for about one year.
Then, she dated Jay Barrymore from 2008 to 2009, who was a British financier.
In 2010, Emma met George Craig, the lead singer of the band One Night Only. However, George confirmed that the two were not together in an interview where he said, “We’re not together at the moment because it’s just not practical.”
In 2011, rumors began swirling up that Emma was dating Will Adamowicz while they were both studying at Oxford. However, they broke things off in the summer, 2013 for reasons which remain unspecified.
Emma then started dating Oxford rugby player Matthew Janney but within a year they broke up. Emma also confessed in an interview that their relationship was horrendous and even went on to say that, “I felt really uncomfortable. Even before my relationship ended, I went on a silent retreat, because I really wanted to figure out how to be at home with myself.”
After that, Emma dated Silicon Valley manager William “Mack” Knight for nearly two years.
In 2018, Emma was photographed with Glee star Chord Overstreet, a number of times, and certainly they seemed to be spending a lot of time together.
