From a very little age we all hear about the story of science fiction, sometimes we reads in novels or sometimes we saw it in the big screen. Basically, those movies take us on a tour where everything is based on science but here the science is beyond our syllabus, and which does not properly exist in our daily lives.
That’s why we called it science fiction.
Now in this Pandemic situation, where the whole world is depressed or frustrated, the famous American director George Clooney come up with his new Sci-fi movie “The midnight sky”. This can be easily said that these movie must take you in a tour in the world of science.
About the movie
As the director of the movie is George Clooney, so it is sure that it is going to be a great movie. The movie is released in the OTT platform Netflix exclusively. And The release date is 23rd December 2020. So it is going to be a great gift for movie lover for Christmas.
Basically, the story based on a lone scientist who lives in arctic for his research purposes. But one day he came to know that a crew of astronauts come to earth for some reason. Then the plot of the movie based on how he contact the crew of astronauts and return them to their home.
About the casts
Here we see the George Clooney as Augustine, who is obviously in the lead role. Beside this we see here a lovely little girl named Caoilinn Springall as Iris. The mind-blowing acting of these two is the biggest achievement of these movie.
Beside this, Felicity Jones, Kyle Chandler, Sophie Rundle act beautifully in the movie.
Reviews and Ratings
This is a sci-fi movie which is taken from Lily Brooks-Dalton’s debut novel Good Morning, Midnight. The overall acting, uses of VFX is superb but to be honest, this is not a very unique topic. This is actually a very old science fiction story which is repeated on these movie.
This movie earns a total 5.7 out of 10 by IMDB. And get 2 out of 5 by The Indian Express.
So you should watching it or not
So, to be honest if you are a lover of science fiction movie or a fan of George Clooney you should watch it. But if you are not then you may not go for it. Because you may feel it iritating and boaring.
