13-YEAR-OLD HERO DIES SAVING GRANDMA: LATEST UPDATES

OREGON FIRE HAS LEFT THE FAMILY DEVASTATED. READ MORE TO FIND OUT!

A wildfire caught hold of a 12-year-old and his grandmother near Lysons, Oregon. As per a report by KOIN, a family member confirmed that the boy was Wyatt Tofte. Tofte ran away from his home as the Santiam Canyon approached. It is reported that the volunteers were looking for him since Tuesday.

A famous amusement park by the name of Enchanted Forest confirmed via a Facebook post that the boy was, in fact, the great-grandson of the founder of the amusement park.

A report has also confirmed that the boy’s mother is also in very critical condition, as reported by Wyatt’s cousin.

On Wednesday, the Sherrif’s Office declared a search and rescue mission after being reported about a missing boy and his dog. The crew searched through debris. There, they found the body of a boy and a dog in a vehicle. A second victim was also found.

Surprisingly, the mother, Angela Mosso told Wyatt to run away with the dog. In spite of this, it is said that he went to some distance and returned back home to get his grandmother. The locals are surprised at the courage of the little boy. Chris Tofte, the father, directed the team to find Wyatt.

“This could be the greatest loss of property and life in our state history,” said the Governor.

Next, the fire continues to spread at an alarming rate and over ten deaths have been reported. The blaze covered some 167,000 acres and was not contained at all as of Wednesday night, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
