Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and his entire family have fallen victims to COVID-19

Apparently, Dwayne Johnson and his whole family have tested positive for the coronavirus, as he revealed on Wednesday through Instagram.

The star, who is 48 now, said that he and his wife, Lauren Hashian and also their daughters Jasmine and Tiana who are 4 and 2 years old respectively, have been sick with the coronavirus. Though he said that he and his wife are the ones severely affected by it. He assured his fans that they were getting better.

Johnson posted a video message of about 11 minutes on Instagram saying that this was a difficult situation that he and his family ever had to endure. He wished that he were the only one to contract the virus, but since his whole family is infected by it, it was a kick in the gut for him. He expressed to his followers that his family is his number one priority. And this has been a huge blow for him.

The Rock said that they contracted the virus from some of his family friends and that those people are devastated that they unknowingly spread the virus to them.

He said that his daughters have almost recovered from it pretty speedily, but he and his wife Lauren are still having a rough go at the virus.

“We as a family are good,” he said. “….. We are no longer contagious, and we are, thank God, we are healthy.”

The Jumanji star assured that they are on “the other end” of the coronavirus and that they are safe and not contagious anymore now.

He told that his daughters had a sore throat for a few days, but they bounced back.

Dwayne’s piece of advice to his followers

He advised everyone to keep boosting their immunity with vitamins and antioxidants. He also told everyone to wear their masks compulsorily as it is the responsible and right thing to do. And shared that they wear them every day at home too.

He counselled his supporters to have their guests tested for the virus before they visit your house. And he also instructed them to stay healthy.

He stated this, “Wear your mask. It is a fact, and it is the right thing to do, and it’s the responsible thing to do,”

Dwayne Johnson is not the only celebrity who contracted the novel coronavirus. Some other actors who have been tested positive for COVID-19 are Tom Hanks, Alyssa Milano and Kevin Hart.

The Rock implored his fans to always stay aware and extremely cautious when interacting with other people to prevent the spread of the virus.

As a conclusion he said, “Use me as your example. Remember these takeaways that I shared with you and stay healthy, my friends, and I’ll see you down the road.”
