She is survived by her long time partner Lance O’Brien and her sister Barbara Blum Chase.

She was in a relationship with Lance O’Brien until her death.

On December 24 2020, Roberts collapsed from bed and could not get up, followed by breathing issues and intestinal pain. She was hospitalised at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in LA and was put under life support.
