By the end of October 2020, the series had been renewed for a second 10-episode season, with TVNZ, Network 10, Acorn and other networks signed on to broadcast. The second season premiered on August 9, 2021, on TVNZ 1, and began streaming in North America on Acorn on August 30, 2021.

Plot

Alexa Crowe is an ex-homicide detective. Her husband died a few years ago, very few people know much about Alexa. She is a mysterious woman. Nobody knows why she left her career as a detective. When her former colleague and friend Detective Inspector Kieran Hussey asks her to consult on his trickier cases, she seems reluctant but she can’t resist a mystery. She can’t stop solving crime cases. Madison, a Data Analyst who works for the police helps her to solve the most baffling crime cases.
