Lauren A. Toomer (’15 MFA, Art Practice) is a figurative artist, creating work about the human body and the loopholes in perception. When Toomer is not in her art studio (pondering whether the mind is fundamentally incapable of comprehending itself), she spends time in the division of clinical anatomy channeling her inner anatomist— á la Leonardo Da Vinci.
