On January 21, 2023, Beyoncé performed Live in Dubai after four years of a long break. The host, Atlantis The Royal especially invited the audience. The audience included influencers and journalists.

US music website Pitchfork announced that Beyoncé will be performing in Dubai for a ‘Luxury Weekend’.

The invites were sent by Beyoncé’s team for the unofficial opening of Hotel, Atlantis the Royal.

The invite said, “Beyoncé invites you to a weekend where your dreams become your destination. You and a guest are invited for epicurean feasts, beachside indulgences, and special reveal experiences including business class airfare, first-class ground transportation, and first-class accommodations at Atlantis the Royal.”

Live performance at the Luxury Hotel in Dubai

The performance was almost an hour by the singer. It was attended by over 1,000 guests including influencers, celebrities and ‘special guests’. Singer’s family included Jay-Z, her parents and friends like Chloe x Halle.

Beyoncé started her performance with Etta James’ ‘At Last’. She was accompanied by an all-female orchestra called Firdaus and a Lebanese dance troop called the Mayyas.

Reportedly, the singer’s daughter, Blue Ivy shared the stage with her mother for the song ‘Brown Skin Girl’.

The afterparty was managed by DJ Swedish House Mafia.

Interestingly, it is reported that Beyoncé was raised about 16 feet over the ground for her performance on the song ‘Drunk in Love’ towards the end of the show.
