Well, Pyramid Head’s giant sword could scratch that itch sooner than you think. As developer Bloober Team has confirmed that its PS5 remake is in the final stages of development. As reported by Game Spoof, boss Piotr Babeno said at the GPW Innovation Day in Poland that the project has been in the works since 2019 and is now in the “late production stage.”
The extensive reveal trailer, made in-game using Unreal Engine 5, shows that the game was almost done. But the same big shot said that his team in Krakow is currently working on improving the project before it comes out.
Babieno made it clear that in the end, it’s up to the game’s publisher, Konami, to decide when the game comes out, but he hinted that the Japanese company would soon have more information about that.
What’s coming for fans in this upcoming year?
Fans haven’t been living under a rock for the past few weeks; you probably already know that Konami recently said they are making several Silent Hill games. The developer of The Medium, Bloober Team, is working on a complete remake of Silent Hill 2.
It is one of these projects. We don’t know when the game will come out. However, we do know that it will be exclusive to the PS5 for at least a year.
