King Charles gets embraced by World Leaders before Queen’s Funeral

Before Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, King Charles III invited international leaders to Buckingham Palace on September 18 as US President Joe Biden paid a final homage to the late monarch. Biden crossed himself and placed his hand over his heart as he stood with his wife, Jill.

As the clock struck zero, the public began to flow past to pay their final respects to the only monarch. According to Australia’s anti-monarchy Prime Minister, the Queen was a continually reassuring presence.

Anthony Albanese observed the lying-in-state and met Charles on September 17. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern of New Zealand counts Charles as its sovereign, along with Australia and 12 other Commonwealth states. He also received a particular audience at Buckingham Palace.

Nation’s glue

E.J. Kelly, a 46-year-old Northern Irish teacher, and his friends secured a prime location along the funeral procession route. She was with camping chairs, winter clothes, and extra socks. Watching it on television is fantastic, but being here is something different.

In addition, large crowds gathered at Windsor Castle, west of London, where the Queen would rest with her late husband, Prince Philip, her parents, and her sister in a private burial after the service.

Further British Prime Minister Liz Truss will lead a national moment of silence to honor the life and legacy of the Queen. Initially, it begins with a single toll from Big Ben.

The 2,000 guests did not include the leaders of North Korea, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Syria, or Russia. The move was highly unethical and blasphemous to the memory of the Queen by Moscow’s foreign ministry last week. China will attend the abbey but was not permitted to participate in the lying-in-state by parliamentary leaders.

Although William and his wife Kate are the most well-liked royal pair, Charles’ approval rating has risen by 16% since May. Prince Andrew, the Queen’s second son, is embarrassed by his ties to US wealthy child abuser Jeffrey Epstein. On September 18 praised the monarch for his limitless knowledge and intelligence.

Camilla referred to her mother-in-law’s blue eyes and smiled in her first public remarks as the new queen consort.
