HBO unveils the first teaser of “Last of Us” Tv Series

HBO has debuted the first footage from their new series, “The Last of Us,” based on the critically acclaimed video game series of the same name. Brief as it is, the teaser gives viewers their first glance at Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in their roles as Joel and Ellie, two survivors in a post-apocalyptic world.

Ellie remarks spitefully in the preview, “Everyone I’ve cared about has either died or left me.” You don’t know what loss is, Joel replies coldly.

Who are the Creators of The Last of Us?

The Orginal Creators of The Last Of Us are Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. They are the co-president of Naughty Dog, the video game firm. Now, they are the show’s co-creators and co-executive producers. Other executive producers include Carolyn Strauss, Evan Wells, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, and Rose Lam.

The show is a joint effort between ABC and Sony Pictures Television. Naughty Dog, Word Games, The Mighty Mint, and PlayStation Productions are all developers.

The footage follows Joel and Ellie as they cross an icy bridge and examine a potentially deadly fungus. Nick Offerman is also making his debut as Bill, a character who develops an iffy alliance with Joel and Ellie in the computer game.

In addition to Joel and Ellie, we get brief glimpses of Sarah (Nico Parker), Bill (Nick Offerman), a clicker embedded in a wall (or what appears to be a wall), and perhaps even Frank (Murray Bartlett). First, Ellie explains, “Everyone I have cared about has either died or left me,” setting the scene in the dead of winter. Joel responds, “You have no concept what loss is.”

There are snippets of Joel teaching Ellie how to handle a gun, a devastating sequence from the game’s opening that we won’t disclose, and other scenes. It doesn’t last long but sets the tone for the rest of the series well.
