The “Everywhere” singer’s arrest was confirmed by Nashville police to HuffPost, and according to the documentation in possession, the amount was set at $1,000. Branch and Carney reps have been contacted by HuffPost.
The prices were first reported by TMZ. According to the source, Branch told police that she had smacked her ex-husband “one to two times.”
The “Everywhere” singer was arrested without incident, and a $1,000 bond was made. On November 7, she is scheduled to appear in court.
Branch accused her husband, the Black Keys drummer, of infidelity in a since-deleted tweet on Thursday. She then posted an emotional message announcing the couple’s separation.
Branch said in a statement that was made available to numerous media sources, “To say that I am absolutely devastated doesn’t even come close to describing how I feel for myself and for my family.
She continued, “The ground has been entirely torn out from under me, and I now have to figure out how to move forward.” “With such young youngsters, I ask for respect and discretion.”
Rhys James Carney, 4, and Willie Jacquet Carney, 6 months, are the couple’s two kids; they were married in 2019.
