Previous Fortnite Wolverine Skin

Wolverine Skin first appeared in Fortnite Season 4. This was a season that included all Marvel-themed cosmetic items, and Wolverine was the “secret” skin that had to be unlocked by completing challenges. Once players complete these challenges they’ll be able to take on Wolverine’s special Awakening Challenges in order to unlock a special emote for the character

Fortnite’s Wolverine Challenges

First of all, you need to buy the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 Battle Pass. If you don’t purchase this Battle Pass, then you won’t be able to earn the majority of the Battle Pass rewards and this includes Wolverine!

Week 1 — Investigate claw marks in Weeping Woods

First up, it’s time for some detective work. You can find these claw marks in a bunch of places, but you only need 3.

To tick this one off as fast as possible, head down to Weeping Woods and go to the spots marked on the map

Week 2 — Find the loading screen picture at the Quinjet Patrol site

This is an easy one. To complete this challenge, follow the following strategy:

  • From the Battle Bus, dive straight down to one of the multiple Quinjet sites marked by blue smoke.
  • Avoid fighting and run straight onto the Quinjet itself. At the back, you’ll spot the rather awesome-looking Wolverine loading screen image.
  • Interact with the picture and you’re good to go.

Week 3 — Find Wolverine’s trophy at Dirty Docks

Well, the clue is in the name. Make your way over to Dirty Docks to complete the third weekly challenge.

The trophy in question is a Sentinel’s head

Week 4 — Launch off of all Sentinel’s hands without touching the ground

This one may sound a little more complex than the others, but it shouldn’t take more than two or three attempts. The Sentinel Graveyard landmark is located towards the center of the map, in the mountains between Lazy Lake and Weeping Woods.

Remember you can deploy your glider after hitting the boost, this will make it much easier to navigate towards your next target.

Week 5 — Locate a Trask Transport Truck

There is only one Trask transport truck on the map and it can be found over by Homely Hills, towards the north of the Fortnite island.

Week 6 — Defeat Wolverine

This is the last challenge. On completing this challenge, you will get Wolverine skin.

He doesn’t have a set spawn location, so your best bet is to land at one of the main buildings first to loot up. Once you’re ready, hop in a truck and hunt him down.

It’s safest to try and fight him from range. If you can lure him close to a building and give yourself high ground, you should be able to deal with damage without being in any real danger. Once he’s knocked, finish off the elim straight away to prevent him from getting back up.
