Shaman King is an anime series based on Hiroyuki Takei’s manga series of the same name, which he wrote and illustrated. Masao Maruyama, former Madhouse president and then MAPPA president, expressed his desire to work on a Shaman King reboot at Otakon 2015.

Previously, in the 41st episode of Shaman King, several significant events occur in the episode titled “Encounters in Hell.” Pirika and Lycan had a post-match conversation. Pirika informs Horohoro that she has informed him of everything.

Anna walked in and mocked him as he was telling them not to worry about anything. She congratulated him and informed him, smugly, that they’d be facing Yoh next.

In the following scene, Manta and Maiden appeared in a car, and Maiden inquired as to whether Lyserg intended to kill Hao. When asked about his motivation for joining the X-laws, he stated that while he still wants to defeat Hao for what he suffered at his hands, it is now more about vengeance.

Lyserg appears to be undecided about whether his actions were justified. He then said that Yoh is going through the same thing and that no matter what you do, someone will never be satisfied with you.

When Sati struck Yoh and claimed to have sent his soul to hell after chanting some spells, the situation abruptly changed.
