The Batman Who Is Starring, Behind the Scenes

Behind the scenes: Matt Reeves, director of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War For The Planet of the Apes, was confirmed as Ben Affleck’s successor a few months after he left the project as director. Production was supposed to start in 2018, but Warner Bros.

Postponed it until Reeves, who is writing and directing the picture, could come up with a story that everyone was happy with. Filming began in early 2020 and was completed in early 2021, after COVID-related delays.

Who Is Starring: Ben Affleck resigned away as Batman not long after Matt Reeves was hired to helm. Robert Pattinson, aka Batman/Bruce Wayne, is our new Batman/Bruce Wayne. The former Twilight star will portray Batman at a younger age, closer to the beginning of his career.
