In the series, Mercenary Enrollment, Yu Ijin is the primary character. He was orphaned in an aircraft crash ten years ago and miraculously survived. Yu Ijin was a mercenary known for his high-level combat skills who served on several battlefields. Major Kang Hamchan and his squad were rescued from the Republic of Korea during one of Ijin’s operations.
Hamchan assisted the adolescent in reuniting with his grandfather and younger sister after he left the war. Yu Ijin’s objective since then has been to live a typical adolescent life. Also in the upcoming chapters we see, one of Seoul’s most powerful mafia figures. Senator Kim Inbae hired Cha Dusik to assassinate Yu Ijin.
Cha Dusik considers Ijin a worthy opponent after defeating him. Later, he is taken aback when Ijin hacks into his system to get access to damning data regarding Kim Inbae’s political troubles, and he is even more taken aback when Ijin uses it to secretly damage the family’s career.
