Expedition Unknown is an American reality television series produced by Ping Pong Productions, that follows explorer and television presenter Josh Ga as he investigates mysteries and legends.

The series premiered on January 8, 2015, and originally aired on Travel Channel before moving to Discovery Channel in 2018. Josh traces the Vikings’ westward expansion from the volcanic landscape of Iceland to a mysterious settlement in Greenland; he aims to find out if the Vikings landed in the United States more than 500 years before any other Europeans.

About Expedition Unknown 

Josh travels to his ancestral home of Great Britain to explore the origins of Stonehenge. From high in the air to deep under the sea, he finds an unexpected network of monuments that could have inspired one of history’s most mystical locations.
