Into The night is Netflix’s first Belgian sci-fi drama series created by Jason George. It is adapted from the novel The Old Axolotl by Jacek Dukaj. The series first aired on Netflix in May 2020. It has received an overwhelming response from the viewers and has been renewed for the second season which is scheduled to be released in September 2021.

The series revolves around a group of survivors in a plane and their quest in finding a safe place to survive the apocalypse that’s about to happen when the sun will rise and will melt down anything in its path.
When the second group finds Sylvie and enters the bunker we see a ray of hope on their faces but this doesn’t last forever because as shown in a trailer there is a fire incident that destroys all of their food in the bunker. Now, the group will have to fly to Norway to gather the supplies and return to the bunker before the sun rises again.
