The series is set in the post-apocalyptic world where mysterious events are bound to take place. In the series, all the creatures with the Y chromosome are killed. Including sperms and embryos except for Yorick Brown and Ampersand his monkey. Y: The Last Man follows Yorick’s adventure as he travels to the next world.
The killing of males in that society leads to women’s deaths putting the entire society into chaos. All the women left behind are coping with the loss. The killing of people with the Y chromosome leaves the human community on the verge of extinction. Member of the U.S House of Representatives commissions Agent 355 of the secret organization Culper Ring, Yorick’s mother. Also struggles to save Yorick’s life.
