Plot
The drama consists of a tale of a power-hungry interracial couple, U.S President Hunter Franklin and first lady Victoria Franklin, who are scandal-ridden behind closed doors, despite their perfect outside facade. Additionally, Gayle and Jason bring with them their brand of excess and volatility.

Also featured in the soap opera-style series are the stories of White House staff members whose lives become intertwined with those of the first family.
