He hears a mysterious voice in his consciousness as he succumbs to his injuries, reciting a series of directives he has no clue what they mean.

There he meets Veldora Tempest, a Catastrophic ‘Storm Dragon’ imprisoned for more than 300 years after destroying a village. Since he feels sorry for the dragon, Satoru offers to help him shatter the seal. For protection from Heaven, Veldora renames him, Rimuru Tempest.
