Apple has always been at the top when it comes to technology. Since 2015 apple has been launching a new smartwatch every year without fail and this year will be no exception. The company now has decided to introduce a new blood pressure monitoring feature in their Apple Watch 7.
The Korean company Samsung has already launched a similar feature in their Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 which is not yet available in India. But its available for the people living in Korea. Rest assured it will be an inbuilt feature in Apple Watch 7.
How to monitor your Blood Pressure using an Apple Watch?
Apple has also introduced a few tools that can help a person keep their blood pressure in check if you own an Apple Watch that is. The first thing to keep in mind is that the watch alone is not enough to get an accurate blood pressure reading.
Stopping blood flow by inflating a blood pressure cuff around your upper arm and then deflating it while listening for changes in your arteries is the only medically effective and validated way to do so today.
That being said, here are a few devices you can purchase from amazon that will connect to your Apple watch or iPhone through Bluetooth to give you an accurate blood pressure reading with it’s health app.

This portable monitor takes clinically accurate readings and has a built-in screen that displays your results so you don’t have to look at your phone screen every time. The Omron BPM connects to your Apple Watch via Bluetooth using the Omron Connect mobile app.

It gives you immediate color-coded feedback and generates a map of all your previous measurements in the Health Mate app for easy monitoring. Bluetooth allows you to link your Withings BPM to your Apple Watch.
3. QardioArm Wireless Blood Pressure Monitor
Your measurements are geotracked. It will detect an abnormal pulse and measure the systolic and diastolic blood pressure. You can set up alerts to remind you to check your blood pressure when it’s time. Bluetooth connects your QardioArm BPM to your Apple Watch.
Besides tracking your blood pressure with the help of these devices, you can also keep it under control by working out with the Apple Watch on. It has a heart rate sensor and various inbuilt workout routines that can help you in becoming fit and staying healthy. There are a lot of health-related updates coming with the Apple Watch 7 but no speculation can be made since the release date of the watch hasn’t been revealed.
