With Aquaman 2 production starting this summer, many fans are still debating whether Amber Heard should return as Mera in the upcoming DC Films sequel after her recent legal battles with her ex-husband Johnny Depp. Some Fans think that it’s only fair that Amber Heard does the same with Aquaman 2, while others think that she should be kicked out from the DCEU film. But there’s also been a big rumor of Emilia Clarke being the Next ‘Mera’.
Well, it’s not up to us to decide who will be kicked out and who will be cast but surely we do have the right to decide who fits best in the role of Mera, Let’s find out!
Emilia Clarke as Mera
Many Fanarts has been surfacing on Instagram showing Emilia Clarke in the makeover of Mera for Aquaman 2, with the Game of Thrones star rocking the signature red hair which is a signature part of the character of Mera ever since she was created in early years. The artwork also sees Clarke wearing the bright green Atlantean body suit Amber Heard wore in the first film.
She looks pretty badass as Mera in this piece of DC fan art. Game of Thrones fans is definitely eager to see Emilia Clarke join a superhero property.

Reports keep ON appearing online across social media claiming, the actress isn’t likely to return as the warrior Mera in Aquaman 2 and some have suggested that she had been replaced.
But Heard says such claims are all False!
She Stated “I’m super excited about the amount of fan love and the amount of fan appreciation that Aquaman has acquired and that it has garnered so much excitement for Aquaman and Mera that it means we’ll be coming back,” Heard tells EW. “I’m so excited to film that.”
This all claims keep on confusing fans big time, as the suspense increases as according to her she is excited for the sequel which means she will be coming back as Mera but recently a manager who works with Warner Bros claims that the directors are considering replacing her most likely!
Who best suits Mera?
