James Gunn Drops The Official Poster

Hollywood renowned director James Gunn took to his Twitter to announce that a red band trailer of his upcoming movie The Suicide Squad is going to premiere tomorrow. With this amazing news, Gunn also surprised the fans with the official poster of the film, featuring the deadly villains with a long list of tremendous cast. It seems like the curse of 2020 is ending, first some awesome series from Marvel, then Synder Cut, and now The Suicide Squad, undoubtedly the year 2021 year is going to be a treat for superhero fans.

 

Gunn kept it small and precise, with the picture of a red band MPA logo, he delivered the news with, “Tomorrow. Trailer. See you there. #TheSuicideSquad.” keeping the buzz around the movie high. Gunn also revealed that a soundtrack from The Suicide Squad is going to release soon. Previously the soundtrack from The Guardian of Galaxy managed to make its way to the chart-topper.

Just like how fans made DC drop the Justice League version of Zack Synder fans are also demanding XC to drop the Ayer’s version of 2016′ Suicide Squad. The demand of fans made #ReleaseAyerCut go trending on Twitter.

Gunn’s upcoming film will follow the mission of DC villains, who later become the member of Task Force X, and were sent to South American Island of Corto Maltese to eradicate Jetunheim, a laboratory, and prison constructed in Nazi era. The film will see many actors from the Ayer version reprising their role including Margot Robbie coming back as Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, the cast of the film also includes some new faces like John Cena as Peace Maker Peter Capaldi.

As per the reports, the film is slated to see its release in theaters and HBO Max on August 06, 2021.
