Plot Info
The Haunting of Bly Manor, released as a follow up of The Haunting of Hill House (released in 2018) was quite a success.
The Haunting of Bly Manor (season 1) was released on 9 October, 2020. It is a fictional horror drama clubbed together with gothic romance. The series is an adaptation of the novella ‘The Turn of the Screw’ written by Henry James. The Haunting of Bly Manor is created by Mike Flanagan. It is currently streaming on Netflix.
However, The Haunting of Bly Manor and The Haunting of Hill House is not connected. Both have a different story, a different plot.
Will there be a season 2 of The Haunting of Bly Manor?
As we already know that The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor are two separate stories with different plot. Just the scenic impressions and the dark theme is similar in the two series.
It is likely that The Haunting of Bly Manor will not have a season 2. But in the coming days, most probably in 2022 we might get introduced to the 3rd season. That is, a separate season of The Haunting series.
Tentative release date, cast and plot
Neither Netflix nor did the makers give us any kind of hint for the sequel of The Haunting of Bly Manor. There is no news about the hit series getting a season 2.
Previous two series of The Haunting franchise were released in October 2018 and October 2020 respectively. So we might just expect the season 3 of The Haunting series to make it to the screens in October 2022.
Presumably the cast may repeat itself, as we have seen The Haunting of Bly Manor. It is expected that Victoria Pedretti, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel, Henry Thomas and Carla Gugino will all return.
About the plot, seemingly, it will differ from the previous two. Both the Haunting series are different from each other barring the dark and horror plot. Here also, in the 3rd season, it will be a continuation of the Bly Manor but with a different ghost story. The 3rd season is also likely to be an adaptation of the novel.
