As we all are waiting for Captain Marvel 2 for almost two years. The Captain Marvel Universe has exciting news for its fans and viewers. Captain Marvel 2 said to get released on 8 July 2022 but due to some reason the date is pushed back. The new release date is said to be 11 November 2022. There is an addition to the cast of Captain Marvel 2. Fans will get to see few new actors in the upcoming Film.
Teyonah Parris Will Join Brie Larson in Captain Marvel 2 Confirmed.
With Brie Larson the American actress and filmmaker. Who’s know for her supporting work in comedies in her teenage Teyonah Parris is said to join the cast and will be playing the role of Monica Rambeau. Along with this two well-known actresses Iman Vellani is also said to join the Captain Marvel Universe in the upcoming film.
In one of her interview to show her excitement for the role of Monica Rambeau Parris said that – “I am excited, just as an actress, to join Brie and Iman and see what putting these three superheroes together — the Carol Danvers Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau — [to see] what will happen in that film. But the rest- we’re just going to have to wait a few weeks before we can really talk about it.”
Monica Rambeau is the daughter of Danvers’s best friend Maria Rambeau the role played by Lashana Lynch in the first Capital Marvel Movie. In the 90’s Monica was just a little girl. In the forthcoming sequel, she will be an adult the role being played by Teyonah Parris. The directors of Captain Marvel’s first Anna Boden and Rayan Fleck will be replaced by Nia Dacosta who became the first black woman to direct the Marvel films.
According to the sources, it is said that Monica Rambeau will get her superpowers in the upcoming sequel. Monica’s superpower includes flying, traveling with the speed of light, and transforming into pure energy. Teyonah Parris is said to be seen in the WandaVision the Disney+ series. Which is said to get released before Captain Marvel 2. The series is directed by the present director of Captain Marvel 2 Nia Dacosta.
The film shooting will be done in the United Kingdom and the filming is said to start on 10 December 2020 or late spring or early summer of 2021. The film is said to be written by Megan McDonnell. The film is based on Marvel Comics superheroine of the same name it is Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures
