Fantastic Beast 3 Filming Halt Due to Covid Case on Set, Jude Law & Eddie Redmayne Confirms.

The Covid – 19 has changed a lot of things. The filming of many shows and series got delayed or canceled due to the Pandemic. Similarly, now the filming of Fantastic Beast that began in September is halted as one of the team members is tested Covid -19 positive.

The Fantastic Beast was said to get Release on July 15 200. It’s a fantasy film directed by David Yates. Produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and Heyday Films. It’s a prequel to the Harry Potter series written by J.K Rowling. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was first premiered in New York City on 10 November 2016.

The film was nominated for five BAFTAs, including Best British Film, and won Best Production Design. It was nominated for two Academy Awards and won for Best Costume Design, becoming the first Wizarding World film to win an Academy Award.

The first sequel Fantastic Beasts:

The Crimes of Grindelwald got released on 16 November 2016 and the second sequel which is not yet named was said to begin it’ filming in November 2020 and the release date was 2021. Due to Covid – 19 the filming was delayed.

In September the filming had begun with all precautions and safety measures as it was confirmed by Redmayne.

The cast of Fantastic Beast includes Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, Katherine Waterston as Porpentina Esther “Tina” Goldstein, Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski, Alison Sudol as Queenie Goldstein, Ezra Miller as Credence Barebone, Samantha Morton as Mary Lou Barebone, Jon Voight as Henry Shaw, Carmen Ejogo as Seraphina Picquery, Ron Perlman as the voice of Gnarlack, and Colin Farrell as Percival Graves.

Now again the filming of the Fantastic Beast is halted due to the Covid-19 positive test if a team member. The confirmation came from Jude Law & Eddie Redmayne. The new filming date is yet not announced. Warner Bros’ pictures said that the diagnose came as a result of the Covid -19 test that the team members had to go through.

The identity of the person remains unrevealed and Warner Bros pictures said to begin filming with all precautions and safety measures. Warner Bros’ pictures gave confirmation on Johnny Depp’s removal because of the losing the case libel case against the newspaper who called him ‘wife-beater’.
