Samsung has gathered a good position among the series of foldable smartphones. Apart from Z Fold, Samsung has unveiled another foldable series Z Flip. After the original Z Flip, Samsung is now ready to unleash one of the most awaited smartphones- Galaxy Z Flip 3.
Naturally, customers will be wondering what about Z flip 2, because technically after Z flip, Z flip 2 would come. But that is not happening here.
Rumors are Samsung has decided to give the names Z flip 3 to the upcoming set because they want to make it similar to the Z Fold 3. Samsung Galaxy Z flip 3 is the next clamshell mobile set. Well, there are many rumors of the specifications of the phone.
Price
There are rumors that the new Galaxy Z Flip 3 might cost similar to Z Flip. The estimated price is $1380 i.e Rs 1,00,794. Customers have to wait for the official announcement.
Specifications and features
There are plenty of rumors about the specifications and features about Galaxy Z flip 3. They are mainly based on leaked photos which are not even official. Here are some of the specifications those might get added in Z flip 3.
Display sizes: For Galaxy Z Flip 3 is rumored to have a 3-inch screen outside and 6.7-inch original screen. The battery capacity might cover from 3500 – 4000 mAh. The smartphones will cover 4G and 5G versions in different sets.
Z Flip 3 with 4G will get Snapdragon 855 plus processor, whereas the 5G version will get a snapdragon 865 plus processor. The screen refresh rate is 120 Hz.
The display resolution will be to 2635 × 1080 pixels. Exynos 2100 might also be used. The storage will be 8GB and 256 GB with no micro SD card. Z flip 3 display will be Dynamic super AMOLED. The smartphone weighs 192 grams.
Now moving to the camera part Z Flip 3 is expected to get a triple camera system on the front. A 12 MP wide, a 12 MP periscope telephoto, and another 12MP ultrawide lens will be used. For the real camera again 12MP+12MP +12MP.
The real camera will also have some features like digital zoom, auto flash, touch to focus, face detection, etc. Connections such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Volts, etc will be included.
Release date
The first release date for Galaxy Z flip 3 was estimated to be in January 2021. But right now Samsung is more focused on releasing the S21 series. Thus the release date will be delayed and estimated to be in mid-2021. This will get cleared after Samsung makes an official announcement.
