The Time I Got Incarnated as A Slime is a popular Japanese fantasy anime. The Japanese name of the series is: ‘Tensei Shitara Suraimu Datta Ken’. The anime series is written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. The popular series is all set to release it’s 2nd season in 2021.
Release Date
The Time I Got Incarnated as A Slime season 2 will officially premiere on January 12, 2021. On this date only 1 episode will get released, others will be announced later. Episode 1’s title is ‘Rimuru’s Busy Day’.
The Time I Got Incarnated as A Slime season 2 will originally get released in Japan streaming channels Tokyo MX, BS11, tvk and MBS Network. Atsushi Nakayama is the director of the upcoming series. Eight Bit Studios has produced it.
The opening theme song of season 2 is performed by True, and the ending theme is performed by Stereo Dive Foundation. The season 2 is said to be a split-cour anime, which will have 24 episodes divided into two parts.

This series focuses on 37 year old Japanese Corporate worker Satoru Mikami. He gets murdered by a random attacker and gets a new life.
He reborn as a slime with the power of emulating anything he consumes. Satoru befriends Dragon Veldora, who gives him the name Rimuru after rebirth. Now Rimuru and Veldora live together and fight any troubles that come to the country.
In the end of season 1, a woman is seen recalling demons while dying. The woman wants vengeance for her and her husband’s misery. The demons are shown killing adventurers of the Kingdom of Filtwood. Later in the episode, the woman is revealed as an adventurer. She actually summoned Kuro, who is now looking for Rimuru to meet him.
The season 2 episode 1 will follow the story from season 1. Episode 1 may show that the children are living a normal life under the supervision of Queen Ramiri.
Instead of this stable condition of the country, Rimuru is not safe. The slime-led country might face terrors from the human world. Rimuru may need to involve in troubles gradually surrounding the country’s happiness.

The Time I Got Incarnated as A Slime season 2 will be available on Crunchyroll and Funimation. Both in Japanese audio and English dubbed.
Alongside this, Muse’s Animation YouTube channel will stream the show. But only SouthEast Asian countries will have access. VRV and AnimeLab will also stream season 2 for the Germany, Australia and New Zealand viewers. Netflix and Amazon Prime Video will stream the whole season 2 with each episode in later time.
