The Boys Season 3 Production to Begin in February: Late 2021 Early 2022 Release Date Expected

The release date of Season 3 took a huge resting period. According to everything that is going on, it’s likely that the show will release by 2022. Okay, let’s not dive into conclusions this quick.

Seemingly, GamesRadar+ interviewed casts to know what we got coming next. While there are many self-speculations already flooding the internet, we’ll update you with everything you need to know about the upcoming Season 3.

Though there hasn’t been an official release date yet, the creator Eric Kripke confirms the filming date. The production started a little late since the pandemic hit and screwed everyone’s plans up. Despite that Eric is ready to take the show into action and we’ll hopefully see season 3 by early 2022.

Season 3 Release Date

The release date of the show is likely to come by in 2022. Creator of the show Eric Kripke is opening up to us on all of the updates.

According to him, January-February 2021 marks the starting filming date. The film is happening in Toronto and will mostly wrap up by August 2021.

Claudia Doumit also confirms the production date but refused to say any more. If the show were following the same pattern as its previous seasons, we may see it come in late 2021 or early 2022. At most, the season will likely release only in 2022.

Who will return in Season 3?

It seems that the cast has been moved around but we cannot confirm who will come in yet. However, Karl Urban, Tomer Capon, Jack Quaid, and Karen Fukuhara will surely return as their characters. The ones who may not return are Shantel VanSanten and Aya Cash as they died in season 2 finale.
