Netflix cancelled the acclaimed Daredevil series back in 2018 just after three seasons. The reason for cancellation is probably due to Disney releasing their own streaming platform, Disney Plus. Also, Netflix mentioned that the series has scrapped with Netflix, the character will live on with forever projects. There were multiple reports of Hulu, as well as Disney Plus reviving the show at some point.
Earlier this year, the rumours had already shaken the internet. However, Cox appeared in an interview with comicbook.com and mentioned that he isn’t appearing in third Spiderman film. Also, he mentioned that he wouldn’t be saying no to future daredevil projects. Several weeks have passed since his interview and who knows how the things have turned. Murphy’s Multiverse cited strong sources to confirm the return of Cox as Daredevil.
