We all know this global star from his “one direction” days when people used to give him names like Harold, Long-haired king and many other names. This English singer right now is having the best time of his life as he is experiencing many good things which have proved that he is a global star.
Just recently this Dunkirk star is nominated for three Grammy awards making him the first 1D member to achieve this stage. The Golden singer not only just get nominated for the most prestigious awards in the music industry but also the recently this sign of the times singer was in the news because of his vogue cover and because of his fashion choices.
I love reading articles that fashion magazines publish now and then. Fashion magazine like Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar always publish a magazine highlighting different icons on their front cover.
And like all times famous fashion magazine Vogue photographed and collaborated with a star but this time it was the famous singer, songwriter, actor, fashion icon and GUCCI man MR. Harry Styles (yes the long-haired lad from “one direction”).

He was asked to be the magazine’s front face for the magazine’s December month issue. It was a huge moment for him because of two reasons:
1. Because it is a world-famous fashion magazine “Vogue”.
2. And because he is the first male solo celebrity to appear on the Vogue cover after 127 long years.
It was important for him rather say very important for him and he did that in his style as he wore Gucci’s periwinkle gown which was paired up with a black tuxedo jacket.
His thoughts on fashion
He had always made headlines for wearing different clothes or say clothes which aren’t generally worn by men in modern time. But for him, it is a very normal and easy-going thing. Since his 1D days, he is known to be one who just loves wearing different clothes and the one who loves experimenting with the clothes.
As on many occasions, he had said things that were very motivating and the falling singer helped people in coming out of their shells and experiment with clothes. The 26 years old was the reason for many people who gave them new meaning to fashion. In an interview with “The Guardian,” his words on fashion was so motivating.
The watermelon sugar singer said,” What women wear, what men wear. For me, it’s not a question of that. If I see a nice shirt and get told, ‘But it’s for ladies.’ I think: ’okaaay? Doesn’t make me want to wear it less though.’ I think the moment you feel more comfortable with yourself, it all gets a lot easier.”
The Kiwi singer doesn’t stop here as he continued and added, “I want to look a certain way. Not because it makes me look straight, or it makes me look bisexual, but because I think it looks cool. And more than that, I dunno, I just think sexuality’s something that’s fun.”
People started thinking fashion more than just dressing up but as it is fun and being creative and experimental and it has its own appreciation and as long as you love it and you are having fun it is ok and it doesn’t matter what others think. Harry changed many people’s lives and he made people feel comfortable and love themselves with whom they are and whatever they are wearing.
At Met Gala
Just like in Vogue cover he made headlines, the same things happened during last year’s Met Gala when he wore “Gucci Sheer Black Blouse” in which he was looking stunning and gorgeous like always. But this time something was different because he leveled up his game from flared pants, jumpsuits and he wore a blouse.
People liked it and many were against it but it didn’t matter to him and he did what he thought was right for him.
Again it was a big opportunity for him as he was the first male solo celebrity to grace the vogue cover and the British singer showed his true colors by wearing a ball gown. He surpassed everyone’s imagination and creativity by levelling up his game from a blouse to a gown.
Again people loved it and hated it but this time it was different because people judged him and questioned his manliness which was weird and very bad.
Famous people like Candace Owens hated what he did and tweeted against him. She tweeted,” There is no society that can survive without the strong men. The East knows this. In the west, the steady feminization of our men at the same time that Marxism is being taught to our children is not a coincidence.”
This criticizer further added,” It is an outright attack.” She ended her tweet by making a harsh statement “Bring back mainly men.”
Not only her but many other celebrities protested and tweeted against his actions like Erick Erickson. This star tweeted,” Biden gets elected by promising a return to normal. Then the left goes all-in on men in dresses.” People like Ben Shapiro and Ian Miles Cheong also showed their hatred.
People were against it and Harry was in the news for so many days and he was criticized and people said many snide things about him.
There were more supporters than haters like Sara Bareilles, the American singer-songwriter came forward and supported him and tweeted, “One of the “manliest” (barf) men I know said, “if Harry Styles in a dress scares you, it’s more about you than about him”..My kind of man”.
Kathy Griffin, the famous American comedian supported him and bashed Candace Owen by tweeting, “Candy Owens doesn’t know what she in for going up against the Harry styles Stans.”
Not only her but Olivia Wilde, the American actress and filmmaker who had recently cast the rising actor in her new movie “Don’t Worry Darling” also came forward and bashed Candace and supported her film star. She replied to Candace’s tweet and tweeted, “You’re pathetic.”
Except for these people many more celebrities came forward and supported his style. American You Tuber Logan Paul respected him for what he did and become one of his fans.
The singer-songwriter’s beloved friends and his mum came forward and supported him. They were fine with the way he was presenting himself and respected and loved his clothes decision.
What did he say about fashion in the Vogue interview?
In the interview, she singer said,” You can never be overdressed. There’s no such thing.” The sweet creature singer further added,” The people that I looked up to in music-Prince and David Bowie and Elvis and Freddie Mercury and Elton John- they’re such showmen. As a kid, it was completely mind-blowing.
Now I’ll put on something that feels really flamboyant, and I don’t feel crazy wearing it. I think if you get something that you feel amazing in, it’s like a superhero outfit.” The Grammy award nominee continued,” Clothes are there to have fun with and experiment with and play with.
What’s really exciting is that all of these lines are just kind of crumbling away. When you take away ‘There’s clothes for men and there’s clothes for women’, once you remove any barriers, obviously you open up the arena in which you can play.”
All of Styles’ words were just so motivating and inspiring.
His words were amazing like always and for him wearing clothes like this is very common and he just wants to have fun. People who even supported him said things like he did what he did because he wants to break some social barriers and he wants to set up something or prove something.
I don’t think he wants to prove something. I think he just wants to have fun and play with the clothes. He doesn’t want to set any rule or break any barriers, well if he does that then very well. His utter motive is to express himself and experiment with clothes and follow the footsteps of the people who helped him in realizing his dreams and who he really is.
Styles reply to Candace
British stars are known for their beauty, fashion sense, talent, accent and also for their humor and how they fight back. Same is for the from the dining table singer when he bashed Candace Owens and gracefully replied for what she said about him.
He posted a picture on his Instagram account in which he was photographed for the Variety magazine and he wore a Palomo Spain suit. He captioned the post with “Bring Back Manly Men” and shut the Candace Owens.
