The first Wonder Woman, made us fall in love with only Diana of Themyscira played by Gal Gadot, but also with Steve Trevor played by the handsome Chris Pine a World War One pilot who crashes into Diana’s world and eventually is bring her in ours to save both the worlds from Ares.
We all know that Steve Trevor does his bit by flying the plane with killer gas cylinders towards the sky to protect his world and Diana. As we mourned his death and waited for the next Wonder Woman 1984 to come. We were in for a big surprise to find Steve Trevor back as shown in the neatly cut trailers of the movie.
There are a lot of stories going around with regards to what is he doing in the new movie, how is back, why is he back and all that; which is fast forward from the first one, which was set in world war 1 era and Wonder Woman 1984 as the title suggests is set in the 80s.
Is this the last of Pine in DC Extended Universe?
As confirmed by Chris Pine it seems like this the last of Trevor’s character that we have caught glimpses of in the trailer of the new Wonder Woman 1984 movie.
He said, ‘’ I think Steve’s done. I think Steve’s done his bit. I wish them all the luck in the world.’’ Director Patty Jenkins had thought about getting Chris Pine’s character back in the new movie while shooting the first one, so he was always part of the second one.
Also, Jenkins has a clear idea about Wonder Woman 3, so there is the possibility that he may not come back now. Since Jenkins and Pine are good friends, he would be aware of the third one’s storyline too.
Wonder Woman 1984 is now set to release in the summer of 2021.
