Mi has sold 5 million smartphones in India during the festive season

MI India has achieved a mammoth feat in the country. They have sold 5 million smartphones during the festive season in the country. The company has said that its offline retail store played a major role in doubling sales this time.

The festive season sale in India was held between October 15- October 21. The offers on MI phone was available across all platforms. That includes Amazon, Flipkart, mi.com, and offline stores. Apart from online, Xiaomi says that the biggest highlight was their offline retail stores. It’s quite surprising though that so many people turned up to the offline stores during this pandemic.

Additionally, the online platforms had reportedly received orders from over 17,000 pin codes. And this was expected, as the online platforms had some really great deals. All Mi phones were available at incredible prices. And with additional discounts such as cashback, EMI options, the mobiles were available at never-before prices.

Mobiles were available at unbelievable prices

The Mi 10 flagship was available for just Rs 44,999. The budget phones, Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max both received a thousand rupees discount. The Redmi Note 9 Pro received an even better 1500 rupees discount.

Xiaomi says that the buyers were a mix of first-time buyers and people who upgraded to a higher price range. Xiaomi has become a mammoth company in India. It had overtaken Samsung to be the biggest mobile company in India. However, it recently lost the crown to Samsung. Therefore, to regain the crown, Xiaomi would want sales like these to keep happening.
