DRM games retailer GOG released Silent Hill 4. The Room on its platform following an earlier launch. It was of other Konami games like Metal Gear Solid. Silent Hill 4. The Room is the one of the first game from the franchise made available on GOG. It has some players wondering about a Silent Hill 2 PC release. Silent Hill 2 is a popular survival horror game. It has secrets that took fans years to uncover. Hence the excitement over a potential Silent Hill 2 PC release is extremely understandable.

 

Most players don’t wish to wait for a Silent Hill 2 GOG release. There is always an option to buy one of the existing physical copies of the game. However, there are not many copies of the original PC release available for sale and players will have to pay a serious premium to secure a physical disc.

Will there finally be a Silent Hill 1 PC release?
It is very unlikely that there will be a Silent Hill 1 PC release anytime soon. Silent Hill 1 was a PlayStation exclusive. It was never officially ported to PC. Players are still hoping for remastered rumors of a new title regularly appear. However Konami has denied that any new Silent Hill games are up for production.

Are there any updates about the SH3 PC release?
Silent Hill 3 was also ported to PC several months after its launch, so it’s possible that we may see a digital version of the game made available in the future. As with the Silent Hill 2 PC release, the PC version of Silent Hill 3 previously received a physical release many years ago. A player can still purchase a Silent Hill 3 PC disc and it won’t be quite as expensive as buying a physical PC version of Silent Hill 2.
