The Los Angeles Lakers are looking to go 3-0 up in the Western Conference Finals tonight at the NBA Bubble near Orlando. Meanwhile, Denver Nuggets will fight to avoid the deficit. Nuggets has always been amazing when it comes to comeback, which may trouble the first-seeded team in the Western Conference.
Tip-off: 9.00 PM Eastern Time at the AdventHealth Arena.
Lakers pulled an impressive win — thanks to Anthony Davis’ buzzer beat — in the second game of the conference finals. The first-seeded team were 102-103 with 2.1 seconds remaining on the clock. Davis then hit the three-pointers from a pass from Rajon Rondo just before the final buzzer.
But, Denver isn’t an easy team to win as they are hailed as comeback kings. Nuggets previously won two playoff series against the Clippers and Jazz after facing 3-1 deficit. Meanwhile, the Lakers haven’t lost a single playoff series since 1969 after going 2-0 up in the best-of-seven series. Denver coach Malone said that the team hate to lose and will fight to turn the table.
Nuggets improved their defensive play on Game 2 after facing a 126-114 heavy defeat in Game 1. LeBron James wished that they should have been paying on Staples Center following a dramatic win on Sunday. He scored 26 points with 11 rebounds while the star Davis dropped 31 points. Nuggets’ star players, Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray scored 30 points and 25 points respectively.
