The free-to-play battle royale video game, which was developed as a part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare might be coming to the mobile platform. The reports emerged after an eagle-eyed fan spotted a job listing on Activision’s official website. Activision published the Call of Duty: Warzone in March, this year as a free-to-play battle royale game. The game can be played across the various platform including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Charlie Intel first spotted the job listing, which isn’t visible at the moment on the official website. The job listing had the title written as Executive Producer, Features (WZM). The WZM inside parenthesis most potentially refer to the acronym of Warzone Mobile. The description further supported the assumption as it mentioned the phrase — a new AAA mobile FPS. This phase is clearly an indication that the developers are working on a mobile game.
The job description further mentioned a few sentences that clearly confined the assumption of a new mobile game. According to the listing, Activision is seeking for someone to transfer the features of Warzone console and PC into the best possible mobile instantiation. At one part, the developer literally mentioned the term Warzone Mobile. The position that they are seeking will serve as the primary point of contact for the leadership team of Warzone Mobile.

The Call of Duty franchise has always been a favourite to the fans. Call of Duty: Warzone has also garnered worldwide applause, dedicated fanbase, and active players. India has been a profitable market for online games and since the prohibition PUBG Mobile, players are looking for several alternatives. Call of Duty: Mobile is already doing great in India, and if a new option with better gameplay, modes, and maps will just attract more gaming enthusiasts.
The developers regularly update the content in Warzone to keep the players hooked. COD: Warzone takes place in the fictional city of Verdansk. At least 150 players engage in online multiplayer combat across the city of Verdansk. The player can play solo or team-up in duo squad or quad squad. Warzone Mobile isn’t the only game coming in Call of Duty series. The seventeenth instalment of series, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is releasing later this year.
