Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake has failed to impress fans

Ubisoft has announced that a remake of the very popular Prince of Persia game is coming in 2021. The news was announced on the Ubisoft Forward event on September 10. Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is a very popular game and many people were excited to hear about it. But it seems like the fans aren’t happy by the trailer. The graphics of the game doesn’t look quite “modern”.

Ubisoft’s Indian Office is working on this remake. They are saying that they have started almost from the ground-up for this game. They have rebuild cameras, controls, combat, etc. to match today’s standard. The engine used for this game is the same as the engine used for Assassin’s Creed Origins. On hearing fans reaction the team behind the game has promised that on release, the game would look much more “polished”.

Fan Reactions

Many people have posted tweets disliking the game. Almost all of the hate is due to its poor graphics. Some say that the game looks like it’s made for PS3 instead of PS4. While some are advising Ubisoft to delay the game and release only when it’s complete. There are also some people who have hope that if not the graphics at least gameplay is going to be great.
